Hey Everyone,
I need some help here. I have an ASUS motherboard with a gigabit NIC built in. It's an Intel I211-AT according to the specs and LSPCI. For some reason Ubuntu (and other distros for that matter) do not like this NIC. I get constant downgrades in speeds to the point where it disconnects repeatedly. I've had to use wifi for quite a while. Things were working properly several weeks ago (I don't recall when it stopped). The same NIC still gets gigabit issues on Windows. Before I attempt to file a bug report with the kernel team, does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
lspci output:
EDIT: I should add that I've tried the default kernel that comes with 18.04 through 5.0.0rc6 on both Ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10, Linux Mint 19.1, and Fedora 29
EDIT #2: I should also add that I've tried 5 different cables, each varying in length, everything CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, a different router, a switch, etc.
EDIT #3: Oops, forgot to sudo, updated LSPCI output.
